Parents and communities are important stakeholders in The Village and have a strong responsibility to assure that all students are educated to the highest academic standards possible. Schools must provide appropriate instructional support so that students can meet rigorous intellectual standards.
The Village Foundation, LJP will work with parents and community-based organizations to achieve the goals of educating all students to the highest standards of 21st Century Learning. Meeting these goal requires all of us to be better informed about what schools are doing—and what they are not doing and how stakeholders in The Village can support all students during their out-of-school programs and activities. Use this site to inform yourself, and let others know about our useful information on school and community reform as well as what you can do to assist students to excel in their academic, physical, emotional, social and spiritual developments.
